| Notes | Moorehead Family Dentistry’s Batavia location is seeking a professional, caring, and out-going registered dental hygienist. We are an established, privately owned practice with a history of long term staff. We are hiring this role for Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We offer competitive pay, a weekly bonus incentive, and opportunities to serve the community as a staff. New graduates as well as experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply. What we provide: • Dexis digital Xrays and charting • 1 hr recall and 1.5 hr new patient appointments • Cavitron (use is temporarily suspended due to COVID) • A clear process for hygiene appointment flow and expectations for success • PPE following ADA COVID-19 recommendations • Open Dental Software • Outsourced dental instrument sharpening Responsibilities: • Provide instruction for treatment and at home care • Periodontal and dental charting • Taking digital X-rays and intra/extra-oral photos • Maintaining and sterilizing dental instruments • Keep supplies in operatory stocked • Build rapport with patients • Work with patient to co-diagnose dental issues along with dentist Qualifications: • Candidates must have current RDH license • Self-motivated with the willingness to exceed patient expectations • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strict adherence to policies and regulations relating to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA • Dental software experience (Dentrix/Open Dental/Eagle Soft, Dexis, MS Word, scanning documents) • Desire to continually improve by learning new techniques, procedures, and processes. • Team oriented with an outgoing personality |
